Reports To: Operations Supervisor / Cleanroom Supervisor Position
Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Cleanroom
Mechanical Assembler to support semiconductor manufacturing
operations in a controlled cleanroom environment. In this role, you
will assemble, inspect, and test precision components,
subassemblies, and equipment using technical documentation such as
work instructions, schematics, and assembly drawings. The ideal
candidate is mechanically skilled, quality-driven, and comfortable
working in full cleanroom gowning while following strict
contamination control and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities
Cleanroom Assembly & Production Assemble mechanical parts,
subassemblies, and precision components in accordance with work
instructions, assembly drawings, and technical specifications.
Align, fit, and fasten components using approved hand tools, power
tools, and cleanroom-compatible equipment. Perform assembly tasks
on production lines or in workstation environments while
maintaining cleanroom standards. Handle sensitive components using
proper ESD (electrostatic discharge) and contamination-control
practices. Quality Control & Testing Inspect assemblies to ensure
compliance with dimensional, functional, and cleanliness
requirements. Perform functional checks and “go–no-go” testing to
verify assembly performance. Identify defects, damage, or
nonconforming parts and follow escalation procedures. Documentation
& Process Compliance Review and interpret work orders, travelers,
bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly documentation. Accurately
record production activity, inspection results, and quality checks
in accordance with cleanroom documentation requirements. Follow
standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety policies, and
cleanroom protocols at all times. Tool, Equipment & Workstation
Maintenance Maintain clean, organized workstations and ensure tools
are properly cleaned, stored, and controlled for cleanroom use.
Perform basic tool and equipment checks and report issues to
supervision or maintenance teams. Support routine cleaning and
housekeeping procedures required for contamination control. Problem
Solving & Continuous Improvement Assist with troubleshooting,
rework, or minor adjustments to ensure assemblies meet
specifications. Communicate recurring issues or process concerns to
leads, engineering, or quality teams. Participate in continuous
improvement efforts to increase quality, efficiency, and
consistency. Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude and experience performing precision assembly
work Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics,
and technical work instructions Experience using hand tools, power
tools, and measurement instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, including wearing full
gowning/PPE for extended periods Understanding of contamination
control and/or willingness to learn cleanroom protocols Ability to
stand for long periods, lift components, and perform repetitive
assembly tasks Strong safety mindset and ability to follow strict
procedures Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working in a
semiconductor cleanroom environment Familiarity with ESD practices
and cleanroom handling requirements Experience with precision
assembly, equipment build, or manufacturing in regulated
environments Experience following ISO, GMP, or other controlled
manufacturing standards Work Environment This position is based in
a semiconductor cleanroom and requires strict adherence to
contamination control, safety procedures, and documentation
practices. Employees must be able to wear cleanroom gowning and
