Job Description:
Clopay Corporation is a leading manufacturer of residential,

team. We have an excellent opportunity for a Plant Manager in our
Goodyear, AZ manufacturing location. Responsibilities/Principal
Duties: Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operation
of the facility. Participate in the creation of plant labor and
expense budgets. Monitor and track operations expenses, research
ways to reduce costs. Work closely with the Safety Manager to
ensure plant safety. Support material performance optimization and
control. Provide coaching and guidance to all operations
associates. Review operational forecasts and ensure necessary
staffing levels are in place. Allocate human and equipment
resources, and direct production associates to attain all
established goals. Work closely with quality personnel to review
product consistency while monitoring scrap levels. Encourage and
promote operating in a continuous improvement environment.
Qualified candidates must possess the following minimum
qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Management,
Operations or another related field. Master's degree, Six Sigma,
Green or Black Belt certification preferred. 7 years of progressive
experience in a key leadership/management role at a manufacturing
facility. Demonstrated strong leadership, team building and
advanced coaching skills. Previous experience/best practices
implementing and using continuous improvement/lean tools such as;
Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc. to
drive improvements. Previous experience/broad understanding of
safety systems and enforcement of safety rules and policies.
Demonstrated understanding of the principles and applications
associated with manufacturing operations, maintenance and
