Job Description Join a dynamic team dedicated to managing and
optimizing freight movement across borders. As a Logistics
Specialist, you will play a crucial role in drayage operations,
overseeing short-distance freight transport and ensuring compliance
and efficiency across international borders. Responsibilities
Manage cross-border freight movements, particularly between the
U.S., Canada, and Mexico, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
Coordinate drayage operations, overseeing short-haul trucking from
ports or border crossings to fulfillment centers or warehouses.
Serve as a central point for real-time issue resolution involving
carriers, vendors, and internal teams. Ensure visibility of loads
using Excel and portals. Manage disruptions on the portal and run
reports to identify reasons for container movement delays. Track
containers within your designated region and report verbally on
developments within your scope. Conduct deep dives into container
information and delays, presenting findings effectively. Work
extensively with Excel for container tracking, data aggregation,
and analysis using pivot tables and vlookups. Communicate
effectively using Chime, Slack, email, and other communication
platforms. Handle assigned volumes and book of business with a
focus on individual, detailed work. Essential Skills Strong
computer literacy skills, particularly in Excel. Problem-solving
and proactive thinking. Back ground in operations support,
logistics, supply chain, transportation, freight, third-party
logistics, and vendor management. Additional Skills &
Qualifications Experience supporting logistics, preferably in an
account management or vendor management role. Expertise in MS
Access and SQL is a plus. Experience in manufacturing,
transportation, customer service, and distribution environments.
Data management and data quality control experience, with
proficiency in pulling and analyzing large data sets. Demonstrated
experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process
improvement. Self-starter who is passionate about data and enjoys
identifying trends. Work Environment The position is 100% on-site,

Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe,
AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 -
$20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may
depend on your job classification and length of employment.
