Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline, supporting a
range of effectors programs. This role offers a unique opportunity

seamlessly. The Systems Engineering and Test Center (SETC)
organization is currently hiring a Principal Systems Engineer,
Effectors, to join our Tucson, AZ location. SETC is an exciting and
challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to
design, develop and test to shape innovative solutions for our
customers. Join our organization and experience the Systems V
engineering life cycle while interfacing with a variety of
engineering disciplines, subject matter experts, chief engineers,
chief technologists, the customer, and so many more to ensure we
design, integrate, test and strengthen our systems to work the
first time and every time for our warfighters! In this role, you
will have the opportunity to work on an effectors project pertinent
to the systems lifecycle. This role is 100% on-site at our Tucson,
AZ campus. What You Will Do In this Systems Engineer role, you will
support the following types of activities: Lead Testing Efforts:
Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and
verification documentation in both simulated and real-world
environments and perform/execute the testing. Troubleshoot and
Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues
through detailed data analysis and debugging. Drive Performance:
Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and
resolve system issues. Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and
software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and
impact. Collaborate and Lead: Work with and lead a
multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system
functionality. Document and Communicate: Develop integration
documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and
effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
Perform Data Analysis: Conduct statistical and numerical analysis
test data to ensure optimal system performance and verify
requirements. Present Findings: Present technical findings and
solutions to leadership and customers. Support Missions: Travel as
needed to support mission execution at various locations including
local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer
locations. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a
Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
(STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience.
Live Battery Test Experience. Experience with systems software,
systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or
systems test. Active and transferrable U.S. government issued
Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S.
citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a
security clearance. The ability to obtain and maintain program
access as required. Qualifications We Prefer Experience in the
Defense Industry, and specifically with military systems; tactics,
techniques, and procedures, as well as Department of Defense
customer infrastructure experience. Experience with model-based
engineering and associated tools. Experience developing both
scripts and functions with MATLAB. Experience with performing
performance analysis and presenting analytical and technical
material. Experience with generating technical documentation, such
as trade studies, test plans, procedures, or technical reports.
Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the
field, supporting integration and/or verification. Experience with
evaluating systems using simulated environments. Experience
interfacing with internal and external customers. Understanding of
