Job Description:
Sonora Quest Laboratories, a leading provider in diagnostic
testing services through a collaboration between Banner Health and
Quest Diagnostics, is seeking an Administrative Director for
Technical Operations. This key role encompasses leadership over the
technical and operational aspects of laboratory services, enhancing
operational effectiveness, and ensuring compliance with all
regulatory requirements. The position demands a strategic thinker
with a background in healthcare operations, skilled in navigating
the complexities of laboratory services while driving innovations
and operational excellence. Oversee daily technical operations in
the laboratory settings, ensuring compliance with applicable
regulations. Strategize and implement process improvements and
technological advancements within the labs. Manage a diverse team
of technical staff and foster a collaborative environment to
enhance productivity and morale. Liaise with senior management,
providing detailed reports and proposals on laboratory operations
and progress. Ensure adherence to health and safety standards to
protect patients and staff. Develop and manage the department’s
financial budget; monitor expenditures and authorize spending.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure diagnostic tests
are aligned with patient needs and medical standards. Strong
leadership and organizational skills Expertise in laboratory
management and operations Proficient in regulatory compliance and
healthcare laws Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage budgets and financial resources Knowledge of
current medical technologies and diagnostics Medical Insurance
