Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Tucson, AZ Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,330 to $1,524 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) / PCU City/State: Tucson, Arizona Shift: Days 07:00-19:30 Contract Length: 13 Weeks Start Date: 01/19/2026 Job Description: The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. Responsibilities: Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement and document nursing care. Assist physicians during examinations and procedures. Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Requirements: 2 years of experience required. AZ License, ACLS & BLS are required. Must be willing to float and start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance. Familiarity with cardiac drips, TAVRs, and watchmen mitro clips. Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
