Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiac Catheterization Lab Location: Glendale, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,523 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, COVID Vaccine Required Must-Have: Cath lab and IR experience, previous travel experience preferred Description: Unit functions with 3 person team. Responsibilities include procedure setup and circulation. Administer sedation and monitor patients throughout procedures. Responsible for hemodynamic monitoring. Hemodynamic monitoring is conducted outside of the main procedure room in a control room. Control room includes a window for patient visibility. Nurse is required to float between the procedure room and control room. Mixed lab provides experience with both Cath Lab and IR procedures. Common procedures include L & R heart catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, pacemaker and defibrillator placements, PICC line placements, central lines, Swan Ganz catheters, pleurovacs, and stroke interventions. Evening call is required 1-2 times per week starting after the day shift ends. Weekend call requirements include 1-2 weekends per month. Holiday call requirements consist of 1 major and 1 minor holiday. Charting system utilized is Cerner. Important to ensure comfort with procedural sedation and hemodynamic monitoring responsibilities.
