Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Tucson, AZ Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,356 to $1,550 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) / PCU City/State: Tucson, Arizona Shift: 07:00-19:30, Days Contract Length: 12.00 Weeks Start Date: 01/19/2026 Job Description: The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. Responsibilities: Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Requirements: 2 Years Experience Required. AZ License, ACLS & BLS are Required. Must be willing to Float. Familiarity with cardiac drips, TAVRs, and watchmen mitro clips. Requires an associate's degree and certification as a registered nurse. Prefer Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
