Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,505 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Mindlance Health to find a qualified OR RN in Phoenix, Arizona, 85001! ID: 75259106 Shift: 10H Days 4 days a week, 10hr shift 06:30am- 5:00pm. No weekends or call needed Description: Unit Solutions Pre-Screens and manager will call for a 2nd interview or offer off of notes and profile.50 mile radius rule, no local ratescannot work perm or per diem at another CS facility within the last 12 monthsDay 1 Pass Fail Exam - details belowSIMs Lab: All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED. NyICU only has to do Foley catheter insertion. ED does Foley catheter insertion but does port-a-cath insertion instead of central line dressing change. This is for travelers going to St. Joseph main campus &/or St. Joseph Westgate campus. NOTE - SIMs lab is pass/fail & nurses have been termed during SIMs Lab for breaking sterile field. Those travelers that understand sterile field typically pass SIMs Lab skills (See separate notes for the specific checklist IF traveler asks for additional details). The hospital expects that every nurse is competent in these areas, especially maintaining sterile field, as these are nursing skills that are performed frequently. NOTE: if a candidate indicates that they are not competent in either of these areas, they are probably not a good fit. In addition to SIMs Lab, they will also go through lifts, restraints, & wound care, but these are just educational based since the equipment & policies can be different facility to facility. - Unit: Neurosurgery- beds: 11 suites- Certs: BLS. Circulate and Scrub is a plus. ACLS and CNOR preferred. Members in AORN.- Cases: 400-450 cases per month, 20-25 per day- EMR: Cerner and Suginet- Nurse Aides: CSTs - 70% RNs, 30% CST- Weekend Requirement: Call- Holidays: Work into holiday rotation.- Scrub Color: Provided- RT 24/7: Yes- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes- Shifts: Shifts - 7-3, 7-5, 7-11, 3-7 11-7. Open 7a-11p M-F. 2 call teams. 1 call day per month, 1 call weekend per month.- Floating: If general surgery background.- Floor specific orientation: 1 week in OR- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Crani, tumors, carotids, spine fusion, lumbar procedures, scoliosis, shunts, brain biopsies, deep brain stimulation, tumor ablation. Cancellation can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting BSN License to , willing to wait Trauma Level:1 Care Shift Notes:4 days a week, 10hr shift 06:30am- 5:00pm.
