Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,074 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Phoenix, Arizona, 85013! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: BSN Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Chemo certification is a plus Description: Unit details: The unit consists of 32 beds. The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4. The electronic medical record system is Cerner. Charge nurse will have a light patient assignment. The unit has two patient care technicians on each shift. The team includes support from an IV team for difficult IV access. Respiratory therapy is available 24/7. Pharmacy services are also available around the clock. Floating to other Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units is required. All nurses are expected to complete skills assessments in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes. Additional skills education will include lifts, restraints, and wound care. Common diagnoses include 85% oncology patients and 15% medical-surgical telemetry. Weekend work is required, with at least one weekend shift per month. Holiday shifts will be part of the rotation. Scrub color is navy. The telemetry system is Philips, and RNs are responsible for interpreting EKGs. The hospital has a cancellation policy allowing up to 4 shifts to be canceled during the assignment period. Each nurse is expected to maintain a sterile field and demonstrate competency in required nursing skills.
