Tucson Medical Center is seeking multiple Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologists to provide ongoing locum call-only coverage . This is a 24-hour STEMI beeper call position with emergency/temporary privileges available . The facility is open to physicians with immediate or near-term availability and is also seeking candidates interested in potential long-term or permanent placement . Assignment Details: Location: Tucson Medical Center Tucson, AZ Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: 24-hour STEMI Call (Beeper Only) Average Consults: 3 phone consults / 24 hrs Admissions: 2 per day Patients Seen: 2 per day Call Response Time: Within 30 minutes Call Back %: 10% Call Ratio: 90% Practice Setting: Inpatient Only Trauma Level: II Stroke Certified: Yes EMR: Epic Requirements: Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology Active Arizona License Must be comfortable handling all aspects of interventional call coverage independently Low Malpractice and no background for temporary privileges Support & Logistics: No supervision required (no APPs or residents) Nearest Airport: Tucson International Airport Recommended Lodging: Sheraton on Grant and Rosemont Additional Information: This facility is looking to maintain consistent 24-hour STEMI call coverage while recruiting for a permanent Interventional Cardiologist.
