Must-Have: Level I trauma experience required. Must have 2 years of
Cath Lab experience. Must be certified and able to scrub.
Description: The unit has 3 main beds, with 1 dedicated to
electrophysiology and 1 to hybrid cases. The team averages 10-25
cases per day. The electronic medical record systems in use are
Cerner and Xper. A charge nurse is present on the unit. Radiologic
technologists serve as nurse aides, both circulating and scrubbing
within the procedures. All staff must be BLS certified.
Responsibilities may also include covering endoscopy and
cardiovascular operating room cases. Call requirements are 8-12
days per month. Holiday work is expected to rotate among the team.
Scrub color for staff will be provided. Common diagnoses and types
of patients include interventional cases, electrophysiology,
peripheral vascular, as well as mitral clip, TAVR, and IABP
placements. The response time for cases is 30 minutes. Phillips and
Siemens equipment will be utilized. Charting is done using the
Cerner system. This role is in an acute care setting. Emergency
pharmacy services are available 24/7. A radiology team is available
24/7 on-site. Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS
