Registered Nurse (RN) | Neuro ICU Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,166 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience required License: Yes Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Level 1 trauma experience EVD experience Strong neuro assessment skills ICP monitoring experience Description: MUST HAVE LEVEL 1 TRAUMA EXPERIENCE. NO FIRST TIME TRAVELERS. CANDIDATES MUST PASS A DYS EXAM PRIOR TO ACCEPTING. Candidates have 2 attempts to pass; if failed, will be disqualified for 6 months. All candidates must float between all ICU and Tele Units. Students are expected to complete skills labs for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes. The equipment and policies can vary facility to facility. Maintaining sterile field is crucial for success. Nurses not competent in these areas may not be a good fit. Must work weekends and holidays as part of core staff rotation. Patients include those qualifying for critical care with a neuro diagnosis. The facility performs procedures such as craniotomies, brain tumor removal, and complicated spine surgeries. Nurses are expected to have a patient load of 4:1 on telemetry floors while floating. The charge nurse will not take patients but will oversee the unit. Cancellation policy allows the facility to cancel shifts per assignment duration. Charting system used is Cerner.
