about your career. The Hardware Engineering Shipboard Effectors
Department is seeking Mechanical Engineers for our Tucson AZ site
supporting the Standard Missile portfolio production line. This
Mechanical Engineering position performs in alignment to
expectations in the design, development and production support
areas associated with mechanical designs, validation principles,
qualification processes, procurement, and production processes
across a design life cycle. Development work may include
requirements understanding, concept development, DFMAs, PFMAs,
margin analysis, technical data package (TDP) development,
application of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principals,
engineering test principals, preparation of technical analysis
reports, and presentations in design reviews. This Role is 100%
On-Site, supports 2nd shift with a schedule of Monday - Friday 3pm
- 12am, and may require up to 10% travel to government and supplier
facilities. What You Will Do Execution of tasks related to Design,
Manufacturing and Integration of mechanical sub-systems Advising
technical leadership based on data driven conclusions Production
support of various internal mechanical sub-systems Supplier Support
for mechanical sub-systems First article inspections at suppliers
Work instruction reviews Material dispositions Root cause
investigations into production and design issues Supporting
engineering assembly hardware builds Ensuring that you are
completing tasks within the budget and schedule provided
Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a degree in
Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a
minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience. Two (2) years of
experience in mechanical design and design documentation The
ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the
start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are
eligible for a security clearance Qualifications We Prefer Four (4)
years of professional experience, or an Advanced Engineering
Degree, related to mechanical design and documentation in Aerospace
& Defense industry Experience with CREO (Pro/E) or similar 3D solid
modeling software Experience with PTC Windchill Product Data
Management or equivalent configuration/data management software
Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) per ANSI Y14.5
Experience in mechanical sub-systems packaging, materials, thermal,
structural analysis, tolerance analysis, energetics principles,
control systems, interconnect, airframe, or large assembly
development Strong interpersonal and communication skills; both
verbal and written Mechanical aptitude to provide solutions to a
variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity What

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily
onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as
they are essential to the development of our products. As part of

for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range
provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience
