Atlantica Inc., a leader in sustainable water management solutions, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Craftsman to join our dedicated Technical & Maintenance team. The role focuses on maintaining and enhancing mechanical systems and components across various water management infrastructure projects. This position demands a high level of precision and commitment to eco-friendly industrial practices, ensuring all mechanical operations align with Atlanticas sustainability goals. Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on all mechanical equipment within the water management facilities. Implement sustainable and efficient mechanical modifications as part of Atlantica’s initiative to reduce environmental impact. Collaborate with engineering teams to design and install new mechanical systems that improve water management and conservation. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in a timely and effective manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous operations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, system performance, and repairs for compliance and performance tracking. Participate in training and workshops to stay updated with the latest in mechanical advancements and sustainability practices. In-depth understanding of mechanical systems, including pumps, valves, and other water management related equipment. Proficiency in using tools and technology required for modern mechanical maintenance and installation. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently both individually and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting. Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) or equivalent. Additional certifications in mechanical systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics are advantageous.
