Victory Autism Academy provides individualized instruction for
students with autism and developmental differences. Our mission is

structured learning environment. Position Overview The Long Term
Substitute ensures continuity of instruction during the absence of
regular teaching staff. This role involves delivering lesson plans,
managing classroom behavior, and adapting instruction to meet the
unique needs of students with autism and other developmental
differences. The substitute helps maintain a positive, structured
classroom environment that supports academic progress and student
growth. Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent
(Bachelor’s degree preferred) Valid teaching certification or
substitute license as required by the state Experience working with
children in educational or therapeutic settings Strong classroom
management and organizational skills Ability to follow lesson plans
and adapt to various subjects and grade levels Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or Special Education Experience as a
long-term substitute or full-time teacher Experience working with
students with autism or other developmental differences Familiarity
with IEPs, behavior support strategies, and educational technology
Responsibilities Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials
provided by the regular teacher Maintain a safe, supportive, and
structured classroom environment Adapt lessons to meet diverse
learning needs and accommodate different learning styles Monitor
student progress and provide feedback and support as needed
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administration
Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to
manage classroom behavior while keeping students engaged
Organizational skills for lesson plans, student records, and
classroom materials Preferred: familiarity with special education
strategies, IEPs, and educational technology
