Job Overview: We are looking for an Accounting Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience and explore multiple areas of accounting. This internship offers the unique opportunity to rotate between General Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and possibly Accounts Payable (A/P). You will provide administrative and operational support while learning the processes that keep our finance operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Assist with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close Support preparation of financial reports and documentation Participate in audit preparation and compliance activities Assist with inventory reconciliations and reporting Support accounting processes related to product valuation and transactions Help ensure accuracy of inventory data Support invoice processing and vendor communications Assist with payment reconciliations and documentation Maintain organized financial records Additional Responsibilities Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives Collaborate with team members to learn and contribute to daily accounting operations Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial data Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong interest in gaining exposure to multiple accounting areas Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a hybrid schedule at our Phoenix, AZ corporate office Preferred: Prior internship or coursework in accounting Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems Understanding of GAAP principles Leslie’s recognizes a critical component to our continued success is our people. â?¯ Leslie’s is proud to have a culture of inclusion that seeks to celebrate and embrace the different backgrounds and perspectives that help drive our success and support team members in developing and growing with us.
