Job Description 2nd Shift CNC Lathe Operator - Aerospace /n -
Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing /n - /nStatus: Full-Time;
Non-Exempt /n - /nCompensation: $24.00 - $39.00 per hour 2nd Shift
Differential, depending on experience and qualifications. /n -
/nSchedule: /n - 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Monday - Friday /n
- Overtime, including Saturdays, as needed /n /n About Us Precision

CNC Lathe Operator to join our team. This role will play a vital

- Vision insurance /n /n Responsibilities & Expectations /n - Set
up and initial program validation. /n - Demonstrate skill to
perform inspection and validation of key features at CNC machines.
/n - Set-up and run Vertical and Horizontal CNC Lathes with minimal
supervision /n - Collaborate with engineering/programing/management
for machining optimization and fixture design. /n - Properly
prioritize workload based on communication from QC and CNC managers
/n - Work in a fast paced, fluid environment /n - Promote a
positive image of Precision Aerospace /n /n Qualifications and
Education Requirements /n - Highschool diploma or equivalent /n -
Must be US Citizen or have Permanent Resident Card /n - Strong
knowledge and application of geometric tolerancing /n - Proficient
ability to read blueprints supporting Aerospace industries /n -
Experience with the precision machining of critical aerospace
hardware including castings, and forgings ranging from aluminum to
high nickel alloys. /n - Ability to adapt to changing work
priorities and successfully overcome machining obstacles /n -
Expert skill in precision measuring equipment /n - Excellent
organization skills, written and verbal communication skills /n -
High level of accuracy and attention to detail /n /n Physical
Requirements The physical requirements of this position include but
are not limited to those listed below. /n - Frequent sitting,
standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, writing and typing /n
- Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds /n - Occasional reaching,
climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing,
pulling, grasping, twisting, bending and repetitive motion /n - The
ability to wear proper personal protective equipment, including
earplugs, safety glasses, safety shoes, etc. /n
